Ok, we are a little late in posting this video that was introduced in June. But it’s too good and relevant to care about timing.

About the video, from the Ted website: “How do you stage an international art show with work from 100 different artists? If you’re Shea Hembrey, you invent all of the artists and artwork yourself — from large-scale outdoor installations to tiny paintings drawn with a single-haired brush. Watch this funny, mind-bending talk to see the explosion of creativity and diversity of skills a single artist is capable of.”

Is Hembrey a critic, an artist, or both? Or neither?! Check out the full video below (16 minutes in length) and let us know in the comments section what you think of the project.

So if the world has gotten to big for you to deal with, just create your own little one. What a terrific idea!

Brilliant – very satrical but deeply inspiring. I often have days where I want to make somebody else’s work.
